Independent photographer and self-taught artist.

My first works were abstract paintings: landscapes of sensations, emotions and imagination.

Then, by a twist of fate, I moved to Russia in 2013. This experience was decisive. The Russian reality was so extraordinary that photography seemed to me the only possible medium. In Russia, some places appear frozen in time, as if one were living thirty or fifty years ago, or even further back. The urban and rural landscapes, and the people, are so distinctive that they sometimes seem unreal.

While searching for the Ducha, the Russian soul, I moved from documentary photography towards a more poetic representation, as in The Dead Souls, a walk through a Russian cemetery.

I found this distortion of time again in The Hunters, Lost in Time, a series about hunting with hounds that perpetuates a ritual dating back several centuries.

In 2026, the need to return to abstraction and to create a bridge between photography and painting led me to the Colors and Seascapes series, which are still in progress.
